Important Update for PCHC Patients on MaineCare Coverage
We understand that recent reports about a temporary hold on certain MaineCare provider payments by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services until July 1, 2025, may be causing PCHC patient’s concern. We want to reassure you that these temporary holds do not affect your MaineCare coverage or eligibility for services. PCHC will continue to meet the needs of patients who are MaineCare members.
MaineCare has confirmed the following:
- MaineCare coverage remains active, and eligibility rules have not changed.
- There are no changes to covered services due to the interruption in MaineCare reimbursement to providers.
- You are not responsible for paying for MaineCare-covered services, except for your standard co-payments.
